One-day route – Sibiu – Jina – Oașa – Râpa Rosie – Ocna – Sibiu

That It was one of those shifts where I go out alone to recharge my batteries for a full week.

The classic departure from Sibiu, I decided to go through Rusciori and Măg, with an offroad section (perfect for warming up).
From Săliște we climbed into a deciduous forest, where we had a few switchbacks. After a relatively steady climb, we reached Poiana Soarelui.

We slowly passed the Crinț Chalet, and after the chalet we reached a fork, where we turned right towards the village of Jina, on the ridge of the Cindrel Mountains – we had a brilliant view. 😍 I stopped at Guga Mare Peak to admire the panorama.

The air there made me crave a langos with blueberry jam 😂 and I decided to take a detour to the Oașa Dam.
From the dam I decided to take a small detour through Strungari, a bit of off-roading to Cugir, then asphalt to Sebeș, where I had a good coffee.

Last stop – Red Ravine, for a few pictures and a breath of fresh air.
I made my way home along DN1 to Miercurea, then I cut off towards Ocna, and from there, on a country road, I exited at Şura Mare.
